The original Malifaux tournament took place on Saturday September 15th, 2012. There was three games.
We NOW have a second Malifood event, taking place on Sunday November 18th, 2012 at The Connection Games & Comics.
If you're on Facebook you can view ALL of the event details at this link.
The past event was set up so - you must select one master (or henchman) to lead your crew. Games will be 35ss selected from a fixed 50ss pool submitted at the beginning of the tournament. Henchmen selected in the 50ss pool can be selected to lead your army in any game in place of the master or as a member of the crew as per the normal henchman rules.
Generalship Scoring is using the Domination format in the Gaining Ground Document
Encounters will be a special story encounter booklet that is in process of being created. This will be posted online and be e-mailed a link to each participant closer to the event. There will also be hardcopies on hand at the event for each participant.
Schemes used are tracked and cannot be duplicated (except as noted below) so once a scheme has been used in the tournament it is ineligible to be selected again for the remainder of the tournament.
Army presentation will be from each player voting on their favorite 3 armies.
- 1st place votes score 3 points, 2nd place score 2 points, 3rd place score 1 point.
- 1st place votes score 3 points, 2nd place score 2 points, 3rd place score 1 point.
