Mission packs
I thought it appropriate this year that I let you guys have the missions before the events since they're not the usual fayre.
The missions for the singles event are NoVA Open style, and are used with permission of Bob Kelley, of The Gamer's Haven in Spokane, WA. They were recently used at a tournament at his store and were well received!
The singles event pack can be downloaded here
The missions for the team event were yoinked with permission from Ordo Fanaticus, with the kind permission of Bryan Bertsch. They're great fun - I've played them and enjoyed them greatly.
The team event pack can be downloaded here
I will of course have printed copies at the events for you!

Games & Gears
Games & Gears have generously donated sets of their excellent studio brushes, and they'll be up for raffle at the events this year. Their dedication to quality and excellence bring you the new and improved 4th generation of their world famous Games and Gears brushes, master crafted for your painting pleasure.
- Longer brush points – Allows you to load more paint on to the brush and giving you more control over your painting.
- Brand new 0000 brush – their smallest brush point ever, for your extreme fine detail painting.
- Stronger synthetic fibre – These stronger fibres are more resistant to abrasive metallic paints and inks, which can ruin kolinsky hairs.
- New Vehicle brush – A new flat brush specifically made for your vehicles. The flat shape allows you minimise paint streaks as you paint your large vehicles’ flat panels.
- Stronger hair – The Vehicle brush and Drybrush are now made from dark ox hair, the strongest natural hair available, giving them a much longer lifetime.

First Fish Games - GET OFF MY LAND!
Local game devs and all round lovely people First Fish Games have kindly donated a copy of their debut board game Get Off My Land! to the 40K Singles event. I got a copy from their Kickstarter, and it's much fun!
Get Off My Land! is a game of “Close Quarter Farming” as farmers compete for limited space and resources. The game takes place over the course of one year as you start your farm from a humble farmhouse and an empty field and build it up to generate enough money to claim yourself as the most successful farmer around.
They also just launched a Kickstarter for their newest game, Coevorden. Town Builder: Coevorden is loosely based on the Dutch city of Coevorden in the 1600's although it’s not meant to be a Dutch themed game. The city’s most distinct trait is the double moated star fortification surrounding the city. Thematically the game is a town building contest where players compete to build the most beautiful district. There is a panel of judges and awards players compete for in addition to scoring points for completed buildings.
Mechanically you draft cards from a central card row into your tableau. Cards can be taken as foundations (which become buildings) or as a resource. It’s about 15 minutes per player and plays 2-4 and also has a solitaire variant. Check it out! The page can be reached at this link
